Welcome, I'm Dr. Yohane Vincent Abero Phiri, an environmental epidemiologist passionate about understanding and addressing the impacts of environmental exposures on human health.
I earned my Ph.D. in Public Health, specializing in Environmental Health and Epidemiology, from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, in 2022.
My research investigates the links between environmental exposures and health outcomes, focusing on reproductive health from preconception to postpartum. I am particularly interested in how air quality characteristics, the living environment, and climate change influence exposure and overall health. Using meticulously collected data, advanced statistical analyses, and innovative modelling, I examine how factors like air and water quality, toxins, and ecological disruptions affect population health. This multidisciplinary approach provides a comprehensive understanding of the complex interactions between human biology, environmental stressors, and disease patterns.
I am also the co-founder of C-PARC, a research and consulting firm that serves diverse sectors by delivering high-quality professional and academic research services, with a mission to empower clients to make informed decisions and achieve their goals.
